T’s and C’s – Change in Action NPO Fair 2024

Terms & Conditions:

1. This project is managed by the Hollywood Foundation, We Are Durban NPO & Gateway Theatre of Shopping.
2. 20 (twenty) organisations will be selected to exhibit at Gateway Theatre of Shopping by a judging panel consisting of businesspeople, donors and NPO leaders.
3. A drop-in site visit may be conducted to ensure the suitability of the selected organisation.
4. The judging panel’s decision will be final and binding, no further discussions or correspondence will be entertained.
5. This is a rare opportunity for the selected NPO’s to be allowed to exhibit at Gateway Theatre of Shopping.
6. All branded items will be co-branded with the Hollywood Foundation logo.
7. The prize includes:
   • 1x foldable trestle table
   • 1x organisation-specific branded stretch tablecloth
   • 1x organisation-specific branded banner wall
   • 2x organisation-specific branded pull up banners
   • 10 x organisation-specific branded golf shirts
   • 1x company stamp
   • 200 x generic organisation-specific business cards
   • 4x Training days for 2 people on how to manage and market your organisation better, including lunch – valued at R2000,00 (Two Thousand Rands) per person per event.
   • 1x 30 second promotional video about your organisation which will be played at Gateway for marketing purposes and placed on all the sponsors socials.
8. The organisers do not make any representations or give any warranties, whether expressly or implicitly, as to the prize, and without limitation, make no representations and give no warranty that your entry or participation will necessarily result in you winning the prize, or any aspect thereof.
9. The Hollywood Foundation and its authorised agents reserve the right to vary, suspend, postpone, or terminate the competition and any prize which has not already been won, or any aspect thereof, for any reasons whatsoever and without notice. In such event, you hereby waive any rights or expectations, which you may have against the Hollywood Foundation or its authorised agents and acknowledge that you will not have any recourse or claim of any nature against the Hollywood Foundation or its authorised agents.
10. Not exchangeable – no NPO can replace you should you not be able to exhibit. If you cannot exhibit for any reason after you have accepted the position, you will refund the Hollywood Foundation for the cost incurred valued at R14 000 – amount as per old invoice minus second shirt option is R14 146
11. The prize is not redeemable for cash.
12. The closing date for entries is 23 June 2024 at 23:59pm, no late entries will be considered. Application support will be offered on 12 June 2024.
13. You will be notified only if successful via the email address provided on or before 17 July 2024.
14. Should you not respond before close of business on 20July 2024, your slot will be filled by the next suitable candidate.
15. The organisers may require you to provide additional information and documentation to process, confirm and facilitate your acceptance of the prize. If you refuse to provide us with the requested information or documentation, you will be disqualified.
16. All information received from entrants will be strictly confidential.
17. You agree and consent to your personal information being processed by the Hollywood Foundation and We Are Durban Social Upliftment NPC, which will be done in accordance with the data protection laws of the Republic of South Africa.
18. You will be required to attend the following in-person training sessions
    • Friday 19 July 2024, at Gateway Theatre of Shopping
    • Tuesday 30 July 2024, at Star Factory, Umhlanga
    • Friday 12 August 2024, at Gateway Theatre of Shopping
    • Friday 23 August 2024 at We Are Durban, Olive Tree Church, Florida Rd

All training sessions must be attended by the same two of the people who will be exhibiting on 06 September 2024.  A maximum of 2 people per organisation can attend the training sessions.

19. These terms and conditions will be construed, interpreted, and enforced in accordance with the laws of contract and dispute resolution in the Republic of South Africa.
20. This Entry is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents, or consultants of Hollywoodbets or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by Hollywoodbets or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or associate and immediate family members (adopted and natural) of all the above.
21. Every entrant participating in the competition shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted these terms and conditions by virtue of their participation.
