Sinovuyo Old Age Group – 2017/18

Hollywoodbets Vasco chose Sinovuyo Old Age Group as their organisation of choice for Hollywoodbets’ Social Responsibility Programme for 2017/2018. Keep reading to learn more about this donation.

This organisation is a haven for the elderly in their community.
They offer a range of different activities that the elders can choose to get involved in.
Activities include beadwork, sewing, gardening, storytelling and exercise.
During their time at the centre these men and women are also given the opportunity to make friends and discuss their day-to-day challenges.
The Vasco team visited these elders and loved spending time with everyone at the centre.
They also donated two sewing machines, two tables and chairs, a microwave, pots and pans.
Patricia Ophila from the Sinovuyo was thankful for Hollywoodbets’ help.

“These new sewing machines will help us to continue with our project and to sell more clothes. The pots and pans will help us to cook big meals and we really needed these items because our numbers are growing. Thanks to the microwave we will be able to warm up food for the people at different times. Overall everything that the team donated to us will make our work here at the centre much easier. Thanks so much Hollywoodbets!” she said.
