Siyawunakekela Umphakathi Crèche receive support from Hollywoodbets Argyle as part of the Hollywoodbets My Community Programme 2020/21.

Severe flooding took place in Durban over the 2019 Easter period leaving many citizens affected as lives, homes and personal goods were lost. Hollywoodbets heard of the great need in many areas and chose to support Siyawunakekela Umphakathi based in Inanda after visiting the organisation and seeing the loss they suffered. The creche provides care to 35 children within the community.
Hollywoodbets Argyle chose to make a donation of a fridge, two big pots, educational toys, two kiddies tables, eight kiddies chairs, three doors, two toilet seats, and building supplies to help rebuild the flood-damaged ablution structure.

Principal Ntombikayise Makhube was grateful that Hollywoodbets responded to their plight during this difficult time. “Here at Siyawunakekela we look after children when their parents are at work and also other children from the community. This donation will help us a lot,” she said.
