Hollywoodbets Nelspruit chooses to support Sakhasive Home Base Care

Sakhasive Home Base Care
Hollywoodbets Nelspruit
Mpumalanga
This organisation that has been working closely with the Department of Health since 1999.
Since then, they have grown to own close to 58 homes spread all over Nelspruit.
Each of the homes is dedicated to taking care of the elderly, families in need and orphans.
There are 17 house mothers at Sakhasive who work hard to ensure the lives of these orphaned children are protected and valued.
They work with social workers to arrange adoptions as well as collecting money to clothe and feed the children.
They frequently pay visits to old age homes, where they ensure that a healthy diet is sustained and to help provide the elderly with their medication.
The Hollywoodbets Nelspruit Team, visited the organisation on the 16th of May 2018 to hand deliver a desktop computer and a printer.
Grace Masango, Project Manager at Sakhasive was overwhelmed by Hollywoodbets’ generosity.

“This donation will help us to be able to assist members of the community with their administrative needs. We can now print forms easily for those who need it. Thanks to the computer and printer we are now able to effectively inform those in our care about the risks of serious diseases like HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening illnesses,” she said.
