Hollywoodbets Philippi chose to support Manchester United FC as part of the Hollywoodbets My Community Programme for 2019/2020. Read on to learn more about the team’s visit.

Manchester United FC first opened 20 years ago so that the children of the community would be able to come together and share their passion for soccer. They also help keep the youth of the community stay off the streets and away from crime. The club is made up of four teams, three of which are junior and the other senior. These teams practise from Monday to Friday at Bongolethu School.
The Hollywoodbets Philippi Team heard that the club did not have a playing kit so chose to assist the players by donating one full kit to the club.
Zamekile Mbaba, Chairman and Coach, was thrilled to receive the support.
“We are very happy and excited to receive the soccer kits. It makes us all look united as one team when we are playing in matches,” he said.
