Hollywoodbets Pinetown chose to support Molweni Warriors Football Club as part of the Hollywoodbets My Community Programme for 2019/2020. Read on to learn more about the team’s visit.

Molweni Warriors Football Club
Molweni Warriors football club was developed 20 years ago by a group of passionate soccer players who wanted to create a career from their soccer talent. The club consist of 26 players who are split into three different teams depending on their ages – Under 17, Under 15 and Under 13. Their proudest moment was when they were able to win the local municipal games last year.
The Hollywoodbets Pinetown Team received a proposal from a local punter, who is also the coach of the team, requesting soccer kits. The Team quickly became interested and thus decided to make a donation of a full soccer kit to the club.
As a result, Coach of the team, Ntethelelo Thabede, believes that this donation will boost the confidence of the players.
“We were using an old jersey that didn’t reflect the team’s talent and spirit. These jerseys that were given to us by Hollywoodbets will boost our confidence a lot,” he said.
