#HopeIsPower – Woodview Cancer Support Group

Woodview Cancer Support Group receives donation from Hollywoodbets HopeIsPower

This Support Group is partnered with CANSA and it aims to support cancer patients and their families. The organisation offers services to patients, such as nutrition, patient support and free cancer screening. The organisation is primarily based in Phoenix and its goal is to offer person-centred community-based cancer support services to individuals that are free of charge.

Hollywoodbets donated food hampers to the Woodview Cancer Support Group, through the #HopeisPower campaign. The food hampers were handed over to the organisation at HUTS and it will sustain the organisation, following the recent riots and unrest that affected many people and establishments in KwaZulu-Natal and parts of Gauteng.

The Deputy Chairman of the Woodview Cancer Support Group, who is known as Len, stated that the organisation received many calls from the cancer community for assistance. He also expressed his gratitude for the bulk groceries that were donated to the Support Group.
