Based in Waterloo, Verulam, Sibonginhlanhla Primary School has been moulding the lives of learners since 2014. The school was humbled and thrilled to learn that it will be receiving assistance from the Hollywood Foundation’s Back to School campaign this year. Teachers and administrators at the school go above and beyond the call of duty for their learners but admit that it is difficult to provide the learners with the best possible education when there are so many socio-economic issues plaguing the pupils from the surrounding communities.
Basic needs such as uniform, school shoes and stationery are precious commodities to many of the school-goers. On 26 January 2022, the Team from the Verulam Branch was proud to visit the school to hand over school uniforms, shoes and stationery to the learners to make use in the new year.
Mrs. L.R. Sithole thanked the Hollywood Foundation for coming to the school’s aid and said that the donation will assist their pupils immensely.
